Assumption Catholic Elementary School opened its doors in north St. Catharines in 1955 to serve families living on and around Niagara Street, Parnell Road, and Port Weller.
It has provided excellence in Catholic education to families for 70 years, and is truly a place where faith comes alive for students and staff. Today, the Home of the Thunderhawks (future Holy Cross Raiders) is a place where more than 160 students learn and grow together in mind, body, and spirit.
Assumption Catholic elementary school offers on-site childcare through Way to Grow Daycare. It is part of the Holy Cross family of schools and the St. Alfred parish community.
